On these absurd nights
when i catch consciousness on its fleeting wing
and lucidity bubbles to the surface
I feel my struggle renewed once again
of life devoid of meaning
the void of empty spaces
and shadowed nights
OH, how I despise these absurd nights
faced by a mirror
with the world in view
i start to,
slowly
face myself
on these scary, absurd nights.
